Direction 1: Following the contracts

Data pulled 16 Oct 2026 from the USAspending API (contract award types A–D; other transaction agreements, or OTAs, are not included) and the FEC API (itemized Schedule A, top 100 records per person per cycle). Files are in contracts/: usaspending_obligations_by_fy.csv, top_awards_since_2025-01-20.json, competition_details.json, fec_itemized_top.csv, fec_summary.json, revolving_door.csv. Fiscal years run Oct–Sep, so FY2025 straddles the inauguration.
