Changelog (v2 → v3)
- Re-fetch pass: each [V-s] source was retried with direct curl (25s limit), then Wayback Machine snapshots, then WebFetch. Lines whose every source loaded in full and contained the claim were upgraded to [V]. Sources still blocked (Reuters 401; Politico, The Hill and parts of AP 403 or timeout; archive.ph rate-limited at 429) keep [V-s]. Raw page captures are saved in
pages/. - Corrections:
- IEEPA tariffs: the Supreme Court struck them down on 20 Feb 2026 (6–3, Learning Resources v. Trump). v2 listed this as unchecked.
- Thiel's tour includes Paris (Jan 2026) and Rome (Mar 2026). v2 had the Rome date as unknown.
- Added:
- Direct Thiel quotes on Obama, Pope Leo and effective altruism (Fortune, citing Politico's recordings).
- NYT full-text detail on the PIF panel's unanimous objection.
- Miami Herald full-text detail on Epstein–Carbyne, including Axon's $625M acquisition.
- Murky items 8b and 17.
- Appendix A, "Unlimited Hangout leads."
- No full-text read contradicted a v2 claim. The full texts only added detail.
