1. Method note
- Evidence: primary documents first (FEC, Federal Register, court filings, official releases), then mainstream or scholarly reporting. Interpretation is labelled as interpretation. A meeting, donation or email is a connection, not proof of coordination or shared belief.
- Materialist lens: what material interests does each actor pursue (contracts, capital, land, energy, arms, regulatory relief), and does professed prophecy change behaviour or just justify it? A belief counts as politically causal only when its holder has policy power and the belief visibly shapes a decision.
- The frame being avoided: "Jewish sects plus a mafia steering US policy toward prophecy" reproduces the structure of the Protocols forgery. It turns named individuals into a collective religious or ethnic agent, and it's empirically false because the actors below want incompatible things. This report keeps four things apart:
- Judaism: a religion with many streams, including anti-Zionist ones (Satmar, Neturei Karta)
- Zionism: a national movement, largely secular in origin
- Israeli religious-nationalist politics: specific parties and movements
- Christian Zionism: the largest pro-Israel constituency in the US by numbers
