Frente Parlamentar Evangélica: 219 deputies and 26 senators in 2025. President Gilberto Nascimento (PSD-SP) beat Otoni de Paula 117–61 in its first contested election. [V] Câmara. The 2026 count (213 + 26) is [V-s]: the register page was fetched but the count was not parsed. The FPE is a sign-up register, not a voting bloc.

Voting (Datafolha, 1 Oct 2026, total votes): among evangelicals, Flávio 52% vs Lula 26% in the first round and 62% vs 32% in a runoff. Among Catholics, Lula 50% vs 32%, and 55% vs 38% in a runoff. Margin: ±4 pts for evangelicals, ±3 for Catholics. [V] Folha. About a third of evangelicals back Lula.

Christian Zionism (leadership level):

• Scholarship traces a dispensationalist Christian Zionism in Brazil, shaped by US pre-millennialist influence, Holy Land pilgrimages and the New Apostolic Reformation. Silas Malafaia, René Terra Nova and Valnice Milhomens are named as leading Christian Zionists, whose discourse became openly Zionist in the 2000s.
• Universal's (IURD) Temple of Solomon is read as "Judaising" and philo-Semitic rather than political Zionism. At its opening Macedo dressed as a rabbi but "made no defence of the State of Israel nor reference to the end times".
• Pastor Caio Fábio is a dissenting voice who criticises Israel's "expansionist project".

The Jerusalem embassy pledge shows material interests overriding theology. On 31 Mar 2019 Bolsonaro retreated from moving the embassy and announced a trade office instead. G1 reports this followed objections from the government's military wing and agribusiness (ruralistas), who feared a "billion-real loss" with Arab buyers of Brazilian beef and chicken. The Apex office opened on 15 Dec 2019 with Netanyahu and Eduardo present; Eduardo called it "the first step" toward moving the embassy, which never happened. [V] g1; [V] Agência Brasil

Lagoinha (Belo Horizonte megachurch network): its pastor Zettel is the money link between Vorcaro and Jair's 2022 campaign (6.1). This is a religious-institutional node inside the patronage network, not evidence of theological motive.

Even a right-wing ex-minister, General Santos Cruz, names "vigarice religiosa" (religious swindling) as a national danger. This is opinion and targets leaders, not believers (video-FjiuXevhBtM.md).
